The 2025 Annual General Meeting was held on Sunday 21st September, 2pm – 3pm, at the Scout Hall.
Trustee Board Changes
Pete Fry stepped down from the position of Chairman of Trustees. Pete has supported the Group for many years in a number of roles (and continues to do so! Being, amongst other things, our ‘Fireworks Tsar’). We’re very grateful for Pete to agreeing to take on the Chair role during our transitional period, and for his continued support.
Mike Smith was duly elected as the new Chair of Trustees.
Janet Moseley was duly elected as our Treasurer. After 39 years, Janet has told us that this year will be her last. She has made a huge contribution to Wargrave Scouts, and will be greatly missed. We will shortly be putting a process in place to identify a new Treasurer – hopefully with a view to that person coming in and shadowing Janet before her departure.
Pete Fry, Julie Wheals and Pete Walsh were duly elected as Trustees.
